What’s new?

ADDITION Added occasional pointers for material that may have been mentioned prior to introduction or material that otherwise is described in detail elsewhere in the book.

ADDITION Added normal theory to the Normal Map section. The spread now also features a simplified illustration of normals relative to a base surface.

ADDITION Expanded the Paint by Number system section by two pages. Sequential Application is now described in detail on these pages.

Changelog

UPDATE The Single-Page edition now features page numbers on each page where applicable, allowing for quicker navigation, as opposed to the previous implementation.

UPDATE Visually reworked Chapter and Subchapter pages, creating a more consistent visual style.

UPDATE Various formatting changes to side-notes for improved readability. Italics are used more sparingly. “Did you know?” side-notes are now fully blue, whilst FAQ and source side-notes are a new dark navy blue.

GRAMMAR General rewrites for a large section of Chapter 1, resulting in less clunky grammar and sentence structure. General rewrites for the entire book are planned for the last edition.
